Welcome to my blog!
Hey there and welcome to my cycle commute!
Over the past few months I’ve taken the plunge and gone from casual cyclist to full blown commuter - so far I’m loving it!
So why the change? It’s a combination of a few things, we moved out of the city, I got a new job and now we have a little baby boy! Whilst I did an occasional commute by bike previously, I had mainly been relying on my wife to drop me at the train station. Now with a little bubba around my lift has disappeared and I had two choices; buy a new car or get on my bike.
I’m guessing you can tell which I went for...
I was a fairly keen cyclist previously but this lifestyle change was definitely the push I needed and I reckon I’ve even picked up some tips and tricks from a regular commute.
I’m no pro, I don’t train or eat like one and I haven’t the foggiest about how to use a power meter but hopefully, over the course of the blog, I can show you how much fun I’m having riding my bike and maybe even share a few tips along the way!
